SOLARISTIC PERFORMS UTILITY-SCALE SOLAR PROJECTS, PROVIDING END-TO-END SOLUTIONS FROM LAND LEASING TO EXECUTION.
WE OVERSEE THE ENTIRE PROJECT LIFECYCLE, SPECIALIZING IN AGRIVOLTAIC INITIATIVES AND LARGE ROOF INSTALLATIONS. WE ENSURE EFFICIENT ENERGY GENERATION, INCREASED REVENUE POTENTIAL, AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL INTEGRATION FOR UTILITY-SCALE PROJECTS.
Utility Scale projects connected to grid
Solaristic excels in utility-scale solar projects, providing end-to-end solutions from land leasing to execution. Collaborating with landowners, we oversee the entire project lifecycle, specializing in agrivoltaic initiatives and large roof installations. We ensure efficient energy generation, increased revenue potential, and sustainable agricultural integration for utility-scale projects.
UTILITY SCALE PROJECTS CONNECTED TO GRID
1 . Introduction
Solar panels are exposed to sunlight, which is converted to electricity by solar cells and used to power a single building or, in the case of solar farms, entire communities.
2.Roof and Land owners requirements
For the land based solar PV systems the minimum requirements are:
All agricultural land if cultivated by professional farmers.
• For agricultural land in proximity of industrial areas, and motorways.
• All industrial and/or former quarry land starting from 2 hectares.
Fill out the request form and describe the type of land you want to rent.
We will carry out an initial preliminary feasibility study, in order to determine whether or not the land has the required suitability requirements.
DETAILS
The amount of rent for agricultural land varies usually from 2000 Euros to 3500 Euros per hectare per year. For industrial land, however, it varies from 4500 Euros to 6000 Euros per hectare per year.
After the conclusion of the rental contract, which regulates the relationship between the plant manager and the landowner (intended use, duration of the contract, payment methods, and registration in the land register), the project approval phase begins .
The investor proceeds with the connection application (TICA), and the release of the Single Authorization at the region and/or province (this authorization also includes the building permit). You will not be charged any cost for the authorized phase.
The construction of a photovoltaic park only takes a few weeks. The installation also includes the preparatory measures of the access roads, and the excavations necessary for the cabin and the power line.
From the design phase to the authorization of the photovoltaic park it takes from 12 to 18 months depending on the size of the project and the experience of the developer.
When the photovoltaic system is put into operation, the rent (annual or overall) is paid immediately.
3. Agrivoltaic projects
HOW WE DO OPERATE
1. We look for agricultural land suitable for agrivoltaics installation or we are contacted by Farmers who want to install an agrivoltaics system on their own land.
2. We establish with the owner of the land / farmer a basic framework agreement which defines the main roles, how the Agrivoltaics project needs to be developed, related monetary values involved and responsibilities of both parties.
3. we will start the design phase deeply involving the farmer on the development of the photovoltaic project.
4. We will constitute with the farmer a JV (or other legal temporary forms of temporary associations between companies) who will be dealing with the agrivoltaics system.
5. We will submit all required requests to relevant bodies including to request to grid connection.
6. when all permissions are obtained and connection to the grid is feasible then we will be able to start the construction phase (RTB status).
7. there is usually some time lapsing between RTB status and the start of the construction, time used to finalise all required procurement activities and other bureaucratical matters, which includes the fine tuning of the contract between the parties involved considering that the final configuration of the photovoltaic system permitted might be slightly different from the one preliminarily designed.
8. Construction activities start, the duration of this phase varies depending on the size of the Photolytic system. In this phase the agricultural production might stop or be affected.
9. The construction of the photovoltaic system is completed, the system is tested and connected. So the Agri-voltaic journey will start.
ARE YOU A FARMER OR A AGRICOLTURAL LANDOWNER AND YOU WANT TO INVESTIGATE AGRIVOLTAIC SOLUTIONS?
4. Large roofs (above 25,000 m2)
HOW WE DO OPERATE
Logistic centres and other buildings with large roofs mostly unoccupied can benefit from a photovoltaic system to increase their revenue.
A. OWNERS WANTING TO INVEST CAPITAL ON THEIR ROOFS AND HAVING THE OWNERSHIP
In this case we do operate as a design and build contractor – starting our activities from the concept design, execution design, permit phase -realization phase till testing and commissioning delivering a 100% turn key operating photovoltaic system to our client.
We also operate and maintain the system along its entire lifetime.
B. OWNERS NOT INTERESTED IN INVESTING CAPITAL, CAN BENEFIT FROM AN INCREASE REVENUE AND ENERGY SAVING COSTS
– We do perform a feasibility study, which includes not only the preliminary photovoltaic system design, but also an energetical study of the Client needs.
– We will prepare a proposal to the Client which usually involves two or three sections: a photovoltaic plant dedicated for the electrical needs of the Client, a potential second photovoltaic plant for potential further users of spaces under the same roof and a third system connected to the grid.
Once our proposal is accepted the parties enter into a contract agreement and we start all the processes to obtain approvals, sourcing related materials, installing the photovoltaic system/s, testing, commissioning and operating them for the entire duration of the contract (usually 25 or 30 years).
C. OWNERS NOT INTERESTED IN INVESTING CAPITAL, BUT INTERESTED IN GETTING THE OWNERSHIP OF THE PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS AFTER CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME
In this case we do operate in the same manner as per the previous point 2, but we do reshape our offer in a way to operate the photovoltaic plants for 15 years and then transfer to the Client a minimal cost, still remaining in charge for Operation and maintenance of the systems.
